Cookies

Some of our Internet pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. The purpose of cookies is to make our offering more user-friendly, more effective and safer. Cookies are small text files placed on your computer and stored by your browser. The cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Other cookies are stored on your terminal device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit. You can set your browser so that you are informed when cookies are set and permit cookies only in individual cases, accept them in specific cases or generally block them, as well as automatically delete cookies when the browser is closed. If you deactivate cookies, this may restrict the functionality of this website.

Cookies which are required to complete the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions you want (such as the shopping basket function), are stored on the basis of Art. 6, Para. 1, Letter f DSGVO [Datenschutz-Grundverordnung – German enactment of the EU General Data Protection Regulations]. The website operator has a justified interest in storing cookies to ensure technically smooth and optimized provision of his services. Insofar as other cookies (for example, cookies to analyse your surfing habits) are stored, these are handled separately in this data protection statement.

  • browser type and browser version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • host name of accessing computer
  • time of server request

This data is not combined with other data sources.

Google Analytics cookies are stored on the basis of Art. 6, Para. 1, Letter f DSGVO [Datenschutz-Grundverordnung – German enactment of the EU General Data Protection Regulations]. The website operator has a justified interest in the analysis of user behaviour in order to optimize both his web offering and his advertising.

SOCIAL MEDIA - FACEBOOK

We run a Facebook page at www.facebook.com/stuttgarter.urologen.
We hereby draw your attention to the fact that you have sole responsibility for the use of this Facebook page and its functions. When you visit our Facebook page, Facebook records your IP address and other information which is stored on your PC in the form of cookies. This information is used to provide us, as operators of the Facebook pages, with statistical information about use of the  Facebook page. Follow this link for more information on this provided by Facebook: de-de.facebook.com/help/pages/insights

The data about you recorded in this connection are processed by Facebook Ireland Ltd. and may be transmitted to countries outside the European Union in the process. Facebook’s data policy describes in general terms the information it obtains and how it is used; here you will also find information about options for contacting Facebook and options for advertising settings. The data policy can be found at: de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy
Facebook’s full data use policy is at: de-de.facebook.com/full_data_use_policy

When you access a Facebook page, the IP address assigned to your terminal is transmitted to Facebook. According to information from Facebook, this IP address is anonymized (applies to “German” IP addresses) and is deleted after 90 days. Facebook furthermore stores information about its users’ terminals (e.g. in the context of “registration notification”); Facebook may be able to use this to assign IP addresses to individual users.
If you are currently registered as a user with Facebook, there is a cookie with your Facebook code on your terminal. This enables Facebook to tell that you have looked for this site and also what you used it for. This applies to all other Facebook pages as well. Facebook buttons incorporated in websites allow Facebook to record your visits to these website pages and to assign them to your Facebook profile. These data allow content or advertising to be tailored to suit you.

IP anonymization

We have activated the IP anonymization function on this website. This results in Google abbreviating your IP address within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the European Economic Area before transmitting it to the USA. The full IP address is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there only in exceptional circumstances. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to analyse your use of the website, to compile reports about website activities and to perform other services for the website operator associated with use of the website and of the Internet. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics will not be combined with other Google data.

Browser plugin

You can stop cookies being stored by making the appropriate setting to your browser software; however, we would point out that in this case, you may not be able to use the full scope of all the functions on this website. You can furthermore prevent data relating to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) generated by the cookie being sent to Google or these data being processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link:
https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

Order data processing

We have concluded a contract with Google to process order data, and we implement in full the strict regulations of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

Demographic features of Google Analytics

This website uses the “demographic features” function of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be compiled which contain statements about the age, gender and interests of website visitors. These data originate from interest-related advertising from Google and from visitor data from third-party suppliers. These data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can deactivate this function at any time.

Google webfonts (optional)

This page uses so-called web fonts provided by Google to display fonts consistently. When you call up a site, your browser loads into your browser cache the web fonts required to display text and fonts correctly. To achieve this, the browser you use must link to Google servers. This provides Google with the information that our website has been called up by your IP address. Google web fonts are used in the interests of displaying our online offerings in a uniform, attractive manner. This represents a justified interest within the meaning of Art. 6, Section 1, Letter f of the German general data protection regulations [Datenschutzgrundverordnung – DSGVO]. If your browser does not support web fonts, your computer will use a default font.

More information about Google web fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy statement: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

DATA PROTECTION PROVISIONS RELATING TO THE USE OF YOUTUBE (OPTIONAL)

The Data Controller has integrated components of YouTube on this website. YouTube is an internet video portal which enables video publishers to put up video clips at no charge and other users to look at, rate and comment on those clips, likewise at no charge. YouTube allows the publication of all types of video, which is why it is possible to call up both complete films and television programmes, as well as music videos, trailers or videos made by users themselves on this internet portal. The company operating YouTube is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. YouTube, LLC is a subsidiary of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA. Every time one of the individual pages of this website operated by the Data Controller and on which a YouTube component (YouTube video) has been integrated is called up, the YouTube component in question automatically gets the internet browser on the information technology system of the person involved to download a display of the corresponding YouTube component from YouTube.

For more information about YouTube, go to https://www.youtube.com/yt/about/de/. In the course of this technical process, YouTube and Google receive information about which specific sub-page of our website has been visited by the person involved.

If the person involved is simultaneously logged in to YouTube, YouTube is able to detect which specific sub-page of our website is being visited by the person involved when a sub-page containing a YouTube video is called up. This information is collected by YouTube and Google and assigned to the respective YouTube account of the person involved. The YouTube component informs YouTube and Google that the person involved has visited our website whenever the person involved is logged in to YouTube at the same time as calling up our website; this takes place regardless of whether the person involved clicks on a YouTube video or not. If the person involved does not want information to be transmitted to YouTube and Google in this way, that person can prevent such transmission by logging out of his or her YouTube account before calling up our website.

The data protection provisions published by YouTube, which can be called up at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/, provide information about how YouTube and Google gather, process and use personal data.
